WHAT IS A PROJECT STUDY?
Student teams work three months full-time to six months part-time on concrete questions within a research or practical project. The goal of the project study is to apply acquired knowledge in practice and to gain experience in project management “learning by doing”. Examples of possible project studies can be found on the topics page.
PROJECT TEAM
- 2 - 5 Students (Bachelor and/or Master)
- Mentor in the company (Support on site)
- Tutor at the university (scientific support)
- Steering Committee (Professor and a high-ranked representative of the partner company)
PROCEDURE OF THE PROJECT STUDY
- The project study begins by the definition of a project plan and a kick-off meeting with the research and/or practical partner.
- The students work on site at the research or practical partner, supervised either by the mentor or the tutor.
- At the end of the project the students present their results in front of the steering committee.
- The project ends with the hand-over of a written project report to the research and practical partners.

- You will be informed, if your project is accepted the way you proposed it, and who will be your project partner at the Chair.
- The project study will be presented on our homepage, so that interested student teams can apply.
- On the basis of the application documents, we will gladly do a pre-selection if wanted.
