Since John Searle only considered the speech act of advising itself, Hindelang is right to point out that advising in its regular form implies an asking for an advice.

Wir sollten von Zeit zu Zeit hinterfragen ob die, die wir um Rat fragen auch wirklich die richtigen sind, denn unsere fehlende Expertise führt oft dazu, dass wir die Falschen um Rat fragen. Auch wenn wir um Rat gefragt werden, sollten wir hinterfragen, ob wir die richtige Person sind, um in diesem Bereich/Themengebiet Rat zu geben.
