💡 Background
It’s easy to assume that human knowledge is stable – that everything we have learnt will endure for millennia. Yet oral history can evolve as it passes between generations, books can be destroyed, and digital storage is more fragile and transient than many assume. The hard drives and servers that underpin our world today will eventually become unreadable as the years pass. Our storage methods may serve us well now, but they are far from immortal. We need to find out a way to safely store knowledge for eternity. It will be your job to find out how.
Answer at least one of the following questions: What are the most durable storage solutions (not the digital ones) for information? Where are storage facilities worldwide for all kinds of knowledge and information? Which companies offer services or products to store information and save knowledge? How can genetic data, biological tissue, items, and information be stored best for a long time? Which innovative business models are there for data storage and security for companies, states, individuals? How can you personally save your data best? What is the future of DNA storage?
🦾Who We Are
The Chair for Strategy and Organization is focused on doing research with impact. This means we do not want to repeat old ideas and base our research solely on the research people did 10 years ago. Instead, we currently research topics that will shape the future. Topics such as Agile Organizations and Digital Disruption, Blockchain Technology, Creativity and Innovation, Digital Transformation and Business Model Innovation, Diversity, Education: Education Technology and Performance Management, HRTech, Leadership and Teams. We are always early in noticing trends, technologies, strategies and organizations that shape the future, which has its ups and downs.

- Consider several types of data (digital, analog, biological) and find the best storage types
- Evaluate different businesses storing knowledge and their durability
- Create a map of worldwide long-term storage locations

📄 Requirements to any Work
We do not want your research to gather dust in some corner of a bookshelf but make it accessible to the world. Thus, we warmly encourage you to create some or all of the following:
- Infograph - visually represent some of your work (find examples here)
- Slide Deck - summarize your research and possibly present it
- Extract most important sequences from podcasts, videos, and other media
- 3-4 Tweets about the most important findings and summarizing the topic
- optional: Medium Article - let people outside university know about your research and start your personal brand
