Many companies have valuable data and innovation challenges but lack the resources to conduct research. At the same time, students and PhD researchers need industry connections and real-world data for their work. There is a clear gap between academic talent and industry needs - your project aims to bridge it.
This project will explore creating a matching platform that connects researchers with companies for data-driven collaboration. The goal is to develop a the platform, leveraging matching algorithms, and thus enable structured partnerships.
The entrepreneurial challenge lies in designing a viable platform, ensuring research quality, and addressing data privacy concerns. This project is ideal for those with a passion for innovation, platform models, and entrepreneurship. The outcome will be a clear framework for launching and scaling a research-matching startup. Your role will be highly entrepreneurial, and you’ll be one of the Chair’s first Entrepreneurs in Residence.

🦾Who We Are
The Chair for Strategy and Organization is focused on research with impact. This means we do not want to repeat old ideas and base our research solely on the research people did 10 years ago. Instead, we currently research topics that will shape the future. Topics include Agile Organizations and Digital Disruption, Blockchain Technology, Creativity and Innovation, Digital Transformation and Business Model Innovation, Diversity, Education: Education Technology and Performance Management, HRTech, Leadership, and Teams. We are always early in noticing trends, technologies, strategies, and organizations that shape the future, which has its ups and downs.
