π‘ Background
Since 2023, our Entrepreneurial Impact Study has been analyzing the startup ecosystems and entrepreneurial impact of German universities. Our goal is to provide data-driven insights into startup performance, founder demographics, key industries, and emerging trends. In 2025, we are now expanding our study beyond Germany to cover the entire DACH region, accompanied by an updated ranking of academic institutions based on their entrepreneurial output. Through in-depth analysis, we aim to bring transparency to the regionβs startup landscape and highlight key developments in areas such as DeepTech and innovation-driven ventures.
What we are looking for:
- Passion for startups and the entrepreneurial landscape in the DACH region β Enthusiasm for entrepreneurship and a keen interest in experiencing the dynamics of company creation firsthand.
- Fascination with entrepreneurial processes and the diversity of startup culture β Curiosity to gain deeper insights into the unique characteristics of startups and the diverse backgrounds of founding teams.
- Strong writing and communication skills β Ability to formulate clear and precise texts (e.g., for our impact study and conference presentations).
- Analytical thinking and affinity for data β Capability to quickly grasp complex relationships and structures.
- Independent and structured work approach β Reliability in taking responsibility for tasks and proactively driving them forward.
- Speaking English and German is required β especially as we need your support in handling requests from German newspapers
What can you expect:
- Preparation of conference presentations β Support in designing slides and structuring key insights for presentations at research and industry events.
- Handling media requests β Assist in responding to external inquiries, preparing key messages, and compiling relevant data.
- Independently work on specific research questions β Take responsibility for smaller research topics or deep-dive analyses, such as follow-up analyses on founder demographics, industry trends, and startup performance
