💡 Background
Artificial intelligence is considered one of the most important driving forces for future economic development. With the rapid advancements in AI technology, there is a growing interest in how AI can be leveraged to augment and streamline work processes. However, the full potential and implications of AI at the workplace have yet to be fully explored and understood.
Join us in our mission to help people embrace a new way of working, starting with building AI competence. By delving into the challenges and opportunities, we can shape the future of the workplace, drive innovation, and ensure the effective integration of AI technologies to improve Human AI interaction.
🦾Who We Are
The Chair for Strategy and Organization is focused on research with impact. This means we do not want to repeat old ideas and base our research solely on the research people did 10 years ago. Instead, we currently research topics that will shape the future. Topics such as Agile Organizations and Digital Disruption, Blockchain Technology, Creativity and Innovation, Digital Transformation and Business Model Innovation, Diversity, Education: Education Technology and Performance Management, HRTech, Leadership, and Teams.. We are always early in noticing trends, technologies, strategies, and organizations that shape the future, which has its ups and downs.

🎯 Goals
- Identify specific areas where AI can provide solutions. This will involve conducting comprehensive literature research and analysis, to gain deep insights into the challenges and pain points of building AI aptitude.
- Gain a deep understanding of AI technologies and their potential to streamline and automate work processes.
- Analyze how AI can optimize workflows and automate repetitive tasks, leading to improved productivity and allowing employees to allocate their time more effectively. Evaluate the use of different technologies to quantify the ability of AI-use in different work environments.
🧠 Topics of Interest
- Use cases: specific scenarios where AI technology is applied to solve real-world problems or enhance existing processes. For example, AI can be utilized for enhancing predictive analytics in healthcare, streamlining inventory management in retail, or automating customer support through chatbots in the service industry. These applications demonstrate AI's versatility in addressing diverse challenges across sectors.
- Industries impacted: range of sectors that AI technology is transforming. E.g., healthcare may see potential for AI revolutionizing patient care and diagnostics, the financial sector may leverage AI for fraud detection and personalized banking services, while in manufacturing, AI enhances efficiency through robotics and predictive maintenance. AI's impact is widespread, driving innovation and efficiency across traditional and emerging industries alike.

- Reliable, self-driven, and motivated
- Enrolled in a Bachelor’s program related to Business Administration/Management/Consulting
- Fluent in English (additional proficiency in German is a plus)
- Proficiency in working with MS Office
- Passion for learning and conducting impactful research
