In today’s fast-paced workplaces, balancing family and work remains a critical challenge. Parents face organizational, emotional, and logistical hurdles that can hinder their professional growth and personal well-being.
The Personal Parental Transition Agent aims to revolutionize how parents navigate this phase by providing a personal, digital coaching solution. Rooted in 2TOP’s expertise in coaching and diversity, the agent combines AI-powered personalization with proven coaching methodologies to empower parents and support organizations in retaining and developing talent. 2TOP is a Germany-based organization dedicated to advancing gender diversity, equity, and inclusion. Known for empowering women into leadership roles, we specialize in coaching, training, and consulting to drive systemic change.
Our Parental Transition Program has already demonstrated its value in supporting parents during critical career phases. The Personal Parental Transition Agent seeks to amplify this impact by
combining human-centered coaching with the scalability of AI.

🎯 Your challenge
We invite students to join us in developing the Personal Parental Transition Agent, a project that blends coaching and cutting-edge technology. Your mission will include:
- AI Development: Design and implement AI algorithms to deliver personalized coaching prompts, insights, and progress tracking. This may involve leveraging natural language processing or machine learning techniques.
- User-Centric Design: Develop user-friendly interfaces that enhance interaction and engagement, ensuring the agent is intuitive and accessible.
- Integration of Tools: Combine coaching methodologies with practical tools such as planning aids and financial simulators.
- Data Privacy and Compliance: Ensure compliance with GDPR and other data privacy standards, building trust and transparency into the system.
- User Research: Conduct interviews or surveys with target users to refine features and functionality based on real-world needs.
🎓 Project Team Profile
We are seeking a diverse team of 2-3 students who bring complementary expertise and perspectives. Ideally, the team will include:
- Strategy and Organization students with an interest in leadership dynamics and user- centric design.
- IT/AI students skilled in natural language processing, machine learning, and data integration.
- Students with an interest in employee development and coaching methodologies.
What’s essential is a balance of strategic thinking, technical know-how, and an understanding of coaching principles. Since 2TOP provides the coaching framework and expertise, we rely on the team’s technical skills and ability to build a functional prototype while thinking critically about its strategic implementation. Ideal candidates should:
- Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Have a proactive and collaborative mindset.
- Be enthusiastic about using AI to drive social impact.
- Possess strong ethical values, ensuring the development of responsible, transparent, and inclusive solutions.
