RPA’s main strength of automating a manual, rule-based process has been mainly used in organizations to automate back-office business processes. (Daso, 2021)
Examples of such processes:
- HR services,
- supply chain,
- IT services,
- finance and accounting.
➡️The reasoning behind this is, these functions mostly are based on rule-based processes such as reporting, payroll, data management, accounting, sales management; data is moved around from one system to another.
➡️Automating these processes with RPA can bring cost savings to organizations as well as increase efficiency by speeding up cycle times. (RPA for Retail Sector - Retail Industry Automation | UiPath, n.d.)
