No-code trend

“The future of coding is no coding at all"

Chris Wanstrath, Github, Former CEO

The former GitHub CEO has shared in a keynote "We think the future of coding is no coding at all” and explained that the traditional form of coding will disappear as the coding process can be automated and instead, developers can focus on system designs and high-level strategies. (Peterson, 2017)

What is no-code?

“It refers to programming technologies that enable non-technical users to create and manage applications using a visual user interface (drag-and-drop) rather than writing or editing lines of code.” (No-Code Platform & No-Code BPM Software, n.d.)”
