Introduction

5ire was founded in 2021 by Prateek Dwivedi Pratik Gauri, and Vilma Mattila. It has its headquarter in London, United Kingdom.

5ire is a blockchain network that brings sustainability, technology, and Innovation to build the 5th industrial revolution (5IR). The company's primary offering is 5ireChain, a first layer, sustainability-driven 5th generation blockchain that ensures adherence to the philosophy of 5IR, creating a net positive impact on the planet and serving humanity.

5ire’s primary goal is to create 5ireChain, a user-centric sustainability-driven blockchain. This is achieved by embedding sustainability both in 5irechain’s base layers and in the upper decision-making that democratically commands the network.

5ire aims to introduce the concept of nested chains, which will enable the 5irechain nodes to create simultaneous blocks and thus providing scalability to the chain. The nodes will be grouped together based on latency and throughput to build and manage smaller chains. These independent chains will then be merged into 5irechains and their reliability, integrity, and authenticity will be measured through 5ire blocks, which are being introduced as blocks of blocks instead of blocks of transactions.
