Introduction

Bitfarms was founded in 2017 by Emiliano Grodzki Pierre-Luc Quimper and Roy Sebag. It has its headquarter in Brossard, Canada.
Bitfarms is a blockchain infrastructure company that operates one of the largest cryptocurrency mining operations in North America. Bitfarms owns and operates blockchain farms that power a global decentralized financial economy. It brings expertise that goes well beyond crypto mining. Its team design, build and manage farm operations and data centers, on top of handling energy logistics.
Bitfarms operates computing centres that power the global decentralized financial economy. They provide an essential service, the validation and verification of global cryptocurrency transactions. Bitfarms continues to achieve strong returns on invested capital through an emphasis on industrial-scale operational efficiencies, and cost-effective infrastructure build-out through its 100% owned electrical contractor, Volta Electrique.
