DISCUSSSION
‣
We live and work in a dynamic and fast changing world, therefore as leaders we must not only be able to adapt to the future, but also to shape it. What has worked in the past and is working now will not work in every case in the future. Some fundamental parts of leadership, such as defining a vision and implementing a strategy, will be just as important in the coming decade. The key to success is a leader with the right skills and mindset, and although the employee-manager relationship has always been important, its significance increased during the COVID-19 crisis, when tailoring work routines to individuals' needs and maintaining social connections had a significant impact on workers' productivity and well-being. CONCLUSION
‣
The world never stands still. Looking back on centuries, we can see that change is indispen-sable, and the world is shifting holistically. In recent years humanity faced one of the greatest challenges in a long time – covid-19. In a work context, a lot has changed and leaders need to adapt in order to succeed and maintain their worker’s well-being and productivity. Nowadays, leaders need to emphasize more on the individual’s needs and ensure a more inclu-sive work culture in times of virtual collaboration and declining social interaction. Leadership 5.0 is set on a abstract set of core principles but the blend of skills needed by leaders to embark successful leadership in the future will change in accordance to changes in humanity. As humanity advances, some skillset elements will lose comparative significance while other will gain comparative significance and new elements emerge. Overall, once can see four key trends, shaping the required skillset of successful future leaders.
