Table 1 lists top ten startups based on their accumulated funding amount from 2018 till the end of 2021. The average age of these top 10 startups is around 7-8 years, with two new startups 0-3 years and three startups with the age of more than ten years.
Figure 1 gives and yearly breakdown of accumulated investments of these startups and Figure 2 provides an overview of yearly share of VC investments allocated to each firm. The VC investments grew from $1.6 billion in 2018 to 9.8 billion in 2021, and almost doubled in 2021 as compared to 2020.
