About the Project

KI-Transfer Plus is a unique program in Germany that is funded by the Bavarian State Ministry for Digital Affairs. KI-Transfer Plus was developed by the appliedAI Initiative GmbH, Europe's largest initiative for trustworthy AI technology, which is also responsible for coordinating the program. Participating companies are supported locally by AI regional centers, which are located at universities throughout Bavaria. Through targeted knowledge building and the development of a holistic AI strategy, companies are enabled to implement their own AI use case within 9 months.

Since the start of the program in 2021, 15 companies have already been successfully supported in the introduction of AI in two rounds. The third round of the program, in which over 20 companies are participating, started in April 2024.

Your Thesis

In your thesis, you will support the research accompanying the KI Transfer + project. We analyse AI adoption, challenges and success factors to implement AI in Small- and Medium Sized Companies.

🦾Who We Are

The Chair for Strategy and Organization is focused on research with impact. This means we do not want to repeat old ideas and base our research solely on the research people did 10 years ago. Instead, we currently research topics that will shape the future. Topics such as Agile Organizations and Digital Disruption, Blockchain Technology, Creativity and Innovation, Digital Transformation and Business Model Innovation, Diversity, Education: Education Technology and Performance Management, HRTech, Leadership, and Teams. We are always early in noticing trends, technologies, strategies, and organizations that shape the future, which has its ups and downs.
