New players

Since its commencement, VC landscape was more passive in nature, governed by few inactive venture capitalists for some time but soon, it became more competitive and the need of finding new investment models gained momentum, providing young companies all sorts of assistance to perform successfully contrary to only providing financial support. This changed the investor landscape and a lot of new players emerged within VC market. Besides certain novel players like incubators, accelerators, venture studios, active operator VCs, family offices and crowdfunding, there has been a major innovation in the financial instruments as well.
